During our recent stay at Peppertree Cottage, nestled in the heart of the Overberg, my family and I found a unique blend of comfort and value. The quaint cottage comes equipped with all the essentials, including a well-stocked kitchen featuring cookware and an electric kettle for those lazy afternoon teas. The welcome drink upon our arrival set a pleasant tone for our getaway. While breakfast isn't included, the option to purchase good ready-meals from the Deli was a practical touch, especially with kids in tow. We loved the access to our own terrace, perfect for soaking in the vineyard views. The surrounding gardens, coupled with seating for alfresco dining, made outdoor meals enjoyable, even if the weather kept us from swimming in the dam. Craig, the owner, was helpful and responsive, which added to our overall experience. The cottage was also equipped with heating, ensuring warm evenings. Meanwhile, for eco-conscious guests, the laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi can further enhance the sense of convenience. Peppertree Cottage strikes an admirable balance between luxury and value, making it a worthy choice for families looking to relax in nature without breaking the bank.
